Our Management & Safety Standards
To safeguard the environment, our assets, and our people, Allied Petrochemical BV has established and maintains a comprehensive management system. This system complies with recognized international standards, including:
ISO 9001: Quality Management Systems
ISO 14001: Environmental Management Systems
OHSAS 18001: Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems
ISO 77001: Security Techniques for Personal Data
Our management system ensures that we meet all the legal, regulatory, and other requirements applicable to our activities. We take compliance very seriously. To ensure full and proper compliance, regular inspections and tours of our premises are conducted by external auditors and regulatory officials, as well as by our own staff.
Safety is paramount in our business. We prioritize the safety of our customers, employees, and the environment. As Service Terminals provides services related to the handling of oil and chemicals, we are classified as a 'Major Hazard Company'. Consequently, we comply with the European SEVESO III directive, which aims to prevent and control major industrial accidents involving dangerous goods.
Given our direct connection with the Port of Rotterdam, we also comply with the ISPS code (International Ship and Port Facility Security code). This code is a set of security measures applicable to vessels and port facilities worldwide, implemented to enhance maritime security.
Our commitment to these rigorous standards underscores our dedication to maintaining a safe, secure, and environmentally responsible operation. By adhering to these protocols, we ensure that our services are reliable, our practices are sustainable, and our impact on the environment is minimized.
